Bedding & Basket Plants

Our selection of hanging basket plants is one of the widest in the area. With over 100 varieties of basket plant, from spectacular SurfiniasTM to colourful trailing Geraniums, you are sure to find whatever you are looking for to make your baskets and tubs the envy of your friends and neighbours.
As well as growing and supplying plants, we also make up hanging baskets to order. We are happy to supply baskets to any requirements you have, whether it is to match a specific colour theme, or plant selection. Whether it is a new basket, or a refill, we are sure you will be impressed with the results! We are happy to supply either an individual basket, or multiples for pubs, hotels and businesses. Prices start from as little as £17.50 for a fully planted mixed hanging basket.
Hanging baskets are not just for spring and summer show. We can also provide a winter selection, to ensure you have year round colour.
A speciality of ours has always been Fuchsias. These attractive, colourful plants add interest to any summer border or patio. From April onwards through the spring and summer, you can chose from 100+ varieties. For mail order customers we are adding a range of Fuchsia plugs for 2009 all of which have been propagated on the nursery. Please see www.ashtonperennials.co.uk from February onwards to see the range on offer.
We also consistently propagate Regal Pelargoniums. These tender plants add a striking centrepiece to tubs and summer borders. Their spectacular, blousy flowers in rich, vibrant colours from almost pure white to near black, help summer displays to stand out from the crowd.
You will also find a full range of summer bedding plants to complete your summer show. On sale from late April onwards (subject to weather), our competitively priced plants will ensure your garden is as colourful as possible during the hopefully long, warm summer.
For winter colour, you cannot beat the variety of winter pansies and violas that we grow. In flower from September/October right through the harshest of winter, they will keep going until you are ready to plant your summer bedding in May/June.
